  The food was fine, nothing spectacular. I have to agree with an earlier reviewer about the garnish,very lackluster. However the thing that made our night was the service, couldn't fault it. Joe, you're a star!

  My wife and I having lunch here now. It's fantastic food and service . Everything is spot on enough of everything . Plenty of beef roast pots mashed pots peas carrots Swede cabbage Yorkshire pudding. The over all experience is just brilliant. Well done to Tracy and her staff for being so attentive to us . Making sure everything was just right. Well done everyone .

  visited tonight 17th Feb 2017. seated rapidly and probably had the last available two-top of the night, good sign?
  we were pre Theater dining and decided to go straight to main course to save time and our waitress was efficient and friendly. I ordered a rare rib eye and my wife went for a steak/ribs combo with rare steak.
  a short wait and we were served substantial plates adorned with the usual garnish.
  I get straight into my steak and first notice it's lacklustre flavour, no seasoning or resting going on here, there is a slight smokey taste from the grill but it just leaned toward bitterness as it was the stand out flavour.
  my wife's ribs and steak were in the same ballpark however she didn't have any complaints. I found the ribs to be dry and tough instead of the juicy, sticky and tender delight that good ribs are all about.
  moving on, the sweet potato fries I had were good but again lacking seasoning.
  the garnish was very poor, it started with a tomato that tasted very old, two button mushrooms that were just naff and a little pile of red sliced red onion that was billed as caramelised but we're little more than boiled and some pale miserable peas
  I was hoping for some good beer but was let down with the selection
  the quality of the steak was questionable and while I understand things can be difficult in the restaurant game there is no excuse when it comes to your headlining ingredients. I've genuinely had better quality mid priced supermarket steaks. if your a steakhouse you better be on top of your steak game, sadly this place isn't from my first impressions.
  I don't want to write a bad review because I know how hard it can be but the truth is this place is running a standard pub menu and billing it as a steakhouse
  strip the menu back to the good stuff
  get your meat game on point
  ditch the naff pub garnishes
  get in some good beers and ales.
